Welcome to the Will County Illinois Chapter of Project Linus!  Our chapter is comprised of many charitable volunteers, individuals as well as groups, across Will County, working together to bring comfort into the lives of hurting children through the wonderful gifts of handmade blankets.

Why blankets?  Well, imagine a child who is sick or injured; perhaps one who is homeless or who has been through an abusive experience.  Now, imagine wrapping up in the comfort and security of a blanket.  It just feels good...like a hug!  Each and every one is made with compassionate hands, and when donated to a child in need, it simply says, "You are not alone.  I care!"  It makes a very tangible difference.

Whether you are joining us for a one-time service opportunity, or an on-going commitment to providing comfort in the form of a blanket, we are so happy to have you join us, and we hope that this website will help provide you with the information you need to get involved with this incredible organization!
